7 ingenious features of the Stirling lie-flat holdall

Looking for the ultimate bag for a few days away? Whether you travel for work or play, we thought of everything when designing this piece of business class luggage. The Stirling lie-flat holdall is the ultimate weekend bag; it’s packed with so many details, we thought you might have missed them, so here are of 7 of its best features.

1. It’s packed with concealed pockets

Unzip the flat front pocket and ta da! So much to see! There’s a mesh zip pocket inside that’s got a clip for your keys, slots for your pens, and a fancy leather slip pocket for a phone or power bank. Literally, a place for everything. We’ve also put a little top pocket on this holdall that’s got a plush lining, to slot in your phone or sunglasses, as well as a secret back pocket that’s perfect for your passport.

2. It’s got two places for your umbrella, wet or dry

Always leaving wet umbrellas on trains and tubes? Us too. This bag has a hidden pocket on its base that’s water resistant, designed especially to house that pesky life prop that performs its job perfectly and then immediately becomes annoying to carry. And (can you tell we’re British?) we’ve even added an extra feature to this business holdall’s handles so that you can slot your umbrella through the outside tabs too. Bring on the rain! Oh and also, did you know we sell an umbrella of our own too?

3. It’s got three internal compartments

This weekend holdall unzips all the way around to lie flat, so you can easily see what’s inside. It opens like a book and there you have it – all your weekend away essentials set out neatly. Inside, one side has a full D-zip compartment and the other is split into two, so you can separate your shoes from your socks. Much as we love them, we have to admit you don’t need packing cubes with this clever number.

Like the best luggage in town, this holdall slots over a suitcase handle so you can arrive at the airport and glide around like the stylish traveller that you are. Given its size, it’s best for this holdall to sit atop a medium or large hard sided or soft sided suitcase. Naturally, it’s an ideal fit for our Stirling business suitcase.

5. It’s laptop friendly

Of course it has a laptop pocket – we weren’t going to miss that one off the features list. The main front pocket of this business holdall fits a laptop with a screen of up to 15.6 inches. The pocket is plushly lined to help avoid any scratches and has a smart popper-down clip to hold it in place.

6. It’s got a built-in garment carrier

We’ve thought of everything with this business bag. It comes with a garment carrier and hanger included, that has a small board to keep your suit jacket flat and even features padded rolls to avoid excessive creasing. Slot your jacket in, zip it up, fold it over and off you go. We even added a pocket to it for your cufflinks.
